When we think of diamonds, we often think of aristocracy. And indeed, the 101-year-old Italian jeweler Buccellati found an ambassador with a modern royal pedigree in Beatrice Borromeo. The journalist and documentary filmmaker is the daughter of the Italian Countess Donna Paola Marzotto and Count Carlo Ferdinando Borromeo and wife of Pierre Casiraghi, the youngest son of Monaco’s Princess Caroline and Grace Kelly’s grandson.

Buccellati’s latest campaign for its Hawaii, Macri, Ramage, and High Jewelry collections is a collaboration between Lucrezia Buccellati, the fourth-generation co-creative of the house, and Borromeo. Shot by Josh Olins in Rome, where Borromeo once lived, the black-and-white images are all glamour, elegance, and effortlessness.

Amazon AMZN has expanded the Personal Shopper service by Prime Wardrobe to cover men’s fashion as well. This move is in sync with the company’s strategy of bolstering presence in the retail market.

This service, which provides style inspiration and recommendations to deliver improved shopping experience, was earlier focused on women only.

But from now onward, the service will offer a variety of men’s apparel from brands such as Lacoste, Levi Strauss & Co. and Amazon’s own Essential brand, among others.

An Amazon stylist will select fashion items that match a customer’s style and fit preferences. Following this, the wardrobe box will be delivered to the buyer’s home for trial on a monthly basis. The buyer can then try the items before buying and even return those that don’t suit his tastes using the resealable package and prepaid shipping label provided.

Amazon is trying to make fashion easier for men.

The company is expanding its Personal Shopper feature, which launched last year for women’s clothing, to include menswear.

For $5 a month, Amazon Prime customers can choose up to eight items of clothing to have shipped to them to try on. They pay for the ones they want to keep, and ship the rest back for free within seven days.

The service also allows shoppers to make specific attire requests, for, say, a Zoom job interview.

The expansion comes during a difficult time for clothing retail.

Employers’ work-from-home mandates, along with mass unemployment ushered in by the pandemic, have transformed the concept of workwear, which is increasingly merging with athleisure styles that prioritize comfort and function.

Over the summer, Brooks Brothers, the menswear brand that became synonymous with the classic Wall Street banker look, filed for bankruptcy.
