Model and Skateboarder Evan Mock Joins Gossip Girl Reboot

A new face has signed onto the Gossip Girl reboot.

Model and skateboarder Evan Mock has joined the highly anticipated HBO Max reboot of the beloved teen soap as a series regular, according to Deadline.

While his role on the show is still unknown, this will mark Mock’s first acting credit.

Mock, a longtime skateboarder and Hawaii native, is also among the fashion industry’s most sought-after models, having starred in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Lanvin, Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo x Timberland, Superdry and more. He is also a credited photographer, shooting Travis Scott on tour and Justin Bieber’s latest Drew House campaign.

Mock joins a growing cast, which includes Emily Alyn Lind  in a lead role, Scream Queens star Tavi Gevinson, Legacies star Thomas Doherty, Adam Chanler-Berat and Zion Moreno. Kristen Bell is also set to reprise her role as the drama’s narrator.

Clothing company Patagonia joins Idaho Conservation League lawsuit against EPA | Local News

BOISE — High-profile outdoor clothing and gear company Patagonia last week joined an Idaho Conservation League lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency.

The Idaho Conservation League has joined with the Sierra Club, the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance in western Washington, and Mi Familia Vota, a Latino-focused national voter participation group, in suing the EPA over concerns about water quality.

“The Trump administration issued a new version earlier this year of the Waters of the United States rule, and we feel it is far less protective than the existing rule,” said Marie Callaway Kellner, conservation program director for the Idaho Conservation League. Currently, neither a 2015 rule change nor the Trump administration’s rule are the law of the land; with the litigation and attempts to repeal the laws, a rule that was in place in 2008 is actually governing waters in the United States.

Malaysia’s Nadiyah Shahab, Big Stage winner joins downsized K-Beauty show

K-Beauty lovers, rejoice! Beauty series “Get It Beauty On The Road” returns to Malaysia next week for its third season. 

Expect bite-sized episodes, new hosts, and fresh tips and tricks suitable for our tropical climate when the show airs on Astro Ria and tvN Oct. 5. Actress Nadiyah Shahab and 2019 Big Stage winner Jang Han-byul will also grace the downsized show to share their personal take on all things beauty and lifestyle. 

The duo will co-host the six-episode series along with original hosts Kim Jung-min, who is a popular South Korean TV personality, and Kim Ki-soo, who is a comedian-turned-vlogger. 

The COVID-19 pandemic had affected the production of the third season, shortening episode durations from 30 minutes to just seven minutes. Filming also had to be done separately in South Korea and Malaysia, respectively.
