4 Vacation Fashion Staples You Need!

If you’ve got a vacation coming up and you don’t know where to start when it comes to your shopping, you’re in the right place! We’ve put together a list with four of our absolute vacation staples, so the entire process is a bit more simple. Whether you’re going to Lisbon or LA, we’ve got you covered with these staples.

Cute Dresses

First up on our list might seem obvious but it is such an important part of packing for any vacation. You’ve got to get those cute dresses in your suitcase! Pack a few different cute dresses, with a couple of mini dresses, a few floaty midi dresses and maybe one maxi dress too. Then you can wear them for so many different occasions, whether its breakfast, heading to the beach or going out for the night. If you’re going on a city break, cute dresses are great too, as they don’t take up much space at all and they look so beautiful and effortless.

A Sun Hat

Next we have something that will add a beautiful accessory to any outfit, as well as keep you safe, which is a sun hat! A floppy sun hat or a trilby style are such stunning additions to your holiday wardrobe, as they bring so much class to any outfit. However, the biggest benefit of all is that they help to protect your head from the sun, so you are less likely to get dehydrated and to get sun stroke (just remember to drink plenty of water whilst you’re there).

One of the best ways to pack your floppy hat is to place it upside down in your suitcase and then fill it with soft items like your socks and underwear. Then, to keep it in place and make sure you’re making the most of all your space, place more items around it! This will help you to make sure it retains its shape whilst you travel.

Comfy Tan Sandles

Tan sandals that are going to keep your feet protected are a must for your vacation. Tan is such a beautiful colour when you are on vacation, and they go with almost everything! They look particularly good with blue dresses, so make sure to give that style combination a go. Wearing them in is especially important if you’re going on a city break or something where you will be doing lots of walking, as the last thing you want is to be getting blisters on the first day and then being uncomfortable for the rest of the time! Simple and sophisticated, a pair of tan sandals will never let you down.

Denim Shorts

Last but not least, we have a pair of denim shorts. Would any vacation really be complete without them? Wear with your bikini to the beach or dress up with a cute bodysuit and wedges for the evening; your options with a pair of denim shorts really are endless! Go for classic denim or black denim shorts. Maybe avoid wearing these when you’re going to be walking lots and opt for your dresses instead, as they aren’t the most comfortable choice in very hot weather.
